Rich was a born and raised on Vancouver Island. He graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Human Kinetics degree with a Specialization in Exercise in 2004. He then completed his Master's of Science Physical Therapy degree at the University of Alberta.
His work as a Kinesiolgist was in the area of physical rehabilitation. As a Physiotherapist with over three years of experience, he has worked with private orthopedic and sports medicine injuries with clients of all ages across Canada and in Australia.
Rich will be completing his Sports Physiotherapy Certificate and Manual Therapy Level 3 in 2012. He is currently providing treatment in Vestibular Rehabilitation and Kinesiotaping.
Outside of work, Rich is a keen recreational athlete and enjoys his time outdoors. His main interests are in ice hockey, surfing, skiing/snowboarding, adventure racing, running, mountain biking, and soccer. During the past year, Rich completed his first half marathon and ski-dive in Western Australia.
